FREE TAX PREPARATION

We offer free tax prep services between January and April.  Our staff and volunteers are IRS Certified to prepare and file tax returns.  Office hours vary so please call our office at 740-653-0643 to schedule an appointment. We accept drop-offs Tuesdays - Fridays between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

VITA

VITA offers free tax preparation for low- to moderate-income individuals and families in Fairfield County. Eligible families/individuals made under $55,000 for 2018. The United Way of Fairfield County's VITA site's goal is to increase education, awareness, and claims of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The EITC is the largest refundable credit that can be claimed on an individual tax return; up to $6,444 for tax year 2018.

TCE

UWFC provides free federal, state & school district tax returns for individuals and families that are over the age of 60. There is no income limit when filing with the TCE program.
