FREE FAFSA PREPARATION

For the past 6 years, United Way of Fairfield County has assisted high school seniors and their families in filing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The United Way of Fairfield County has partnered with high schools throughout the county to helped students interested in going to college apply for financial aid.

In order to receive federal aid students must file a FAFSA every year. Once filed, the FASFA report tells parents expected parent contribution towards college and if they qualify for the Pell Grant or subsidized student loan. The Pell Grant gives students up to $5,920 for post-secondary education. United Way of Fairfield County has worked with the following schools to provide free FAFSA preparation services:

• Amanda Clearcreek
• Berne Union
• Bloom Carroll
• Canal Winchester
• Fairfield Christian
• Fairfield Union
• Lancaster
• Liberty Union
• Millersport

If you are interested having United Way file your free FAFSA, please contact us at 740-653-0643. Completed tax information is needed to file a FAFSA.
