United Way of Fairfield County values the trust its donors and other stakeholders place in the organization and adheres to the highest standards in gathering, using and safeguarding their information. In order to fully understand your rights we encourage you to read this Privacy Policy. United Way reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this Privacy Policy simply by posting such changes on our site. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting.

We do not rent, sell or trade donor information to any third parties outside the United Way system.

Community Donor Database:
The information provided to us by you or your employer is used for three primary reasons:
• To manage your charitable gift in keeping with donor intention.
• To send acknowledgements for your donation.
• To keep you informed about our work.
All information is secure and credit card information is not stored in this database.

Communications:
Periodically we send electronic communications in newsletter format to our constituents, which include donors, volunteers and other business contacts. Typically these communications include information regarding community investment reporting, news and events, as well as other pertinent information we feel should be communicated to our constituents. If at any time you would like to discontinue receiving emails from us you may opt out by sending an email to mneighbor@uwayfairfieldco.org requesting to be removed from our email database.
